Address search is not working. What should I do?

RotasSemLimites uses Apple Maps (MKLocalSearch) to search for addresses — an internet connection is required. Also check that "Offline Mode" is not enabled in Settings. If you are offline, use the spreadsheet import with coordinates.

How do I import stops from a spreadsheet?

Tap "Import Spreadsheet" on the route screen. Select a .xlsx or .csv file from your device. On the next screen, map the latitude and longitude columns. Name and address columns are optional. A preview of the first 3 rows will be shown before confirming.

How does route optimization work?

The app uses the Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) algorithm with Nearest Neighbor + 2-opt. Distance is calculated in a straight line (Haversine). The result shows how many km you save compared to the original order. You can fix the starting and/or ending stop. Distances are estimates — the actual road route may be longer.

Can I change the color of each route?

Yes! Open the route and tap the colored circles below the name. You can choose from 5 colors: 🟠 Deliveries, 🟢 Clients, 🔵 Technicians, 🟣 North Region, and 🔴 Urgent. The color appears on the map and on the home screen cards.

How do Favorites work?

When searching for an address, tap the star ⭐ next to the result to save it as a favorite. Favorites appear at the top of the search for quick access. To remove, tap the star again.

Will my data be saved if I switch iPhones?

Currently, data is stored only on the device. We are working on adding automatic iCloud backup in a future update. For now, we recommend exporting your routes before switching devices.

Does the app work offline?

Yes! Routes, optimization, and spreadsheet imports work 100% offline. Only address search and map loading in areas never visited require internet. Enable "Offline Mode" in Settings to see alerts when you are disconnected.

How does Dynamic Island work during navigation?

When starting a route, a Live Activity appears in the Dynamic Island (iPhone 14 Pro and above) and on the lock screen, showing the current stop, progress, and distance to the next stop. It updates automatically as you advance.
